    Mr. James L. Ory, age 82, of Story, AR, passed away August 28, 2016 at the Montgomery County Nursing Home. He was born January 5, 1934 to the late Julian and Matlida Ory in Aurora, IL. Mr. Ory is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister; Alice Flynn.

    Survivors include: Children; Christopher Ory of Los Alamos, NM, Jerrold Ory of Sandwich, IL, Grandchildren; Jason Ory of Madison, AL, Brian Ory of Colorado Springs, CO, and Sabrina Ory of Ottawa, IL.

    Mr. Ory enjoyed fishing, hunting and photography. He was a very humorous person and was a member of S & L Volunteer Fire Department of Story.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 4-6 p.m. at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida. Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at the Thornton Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR.
